Jin Ling
1958 - Born in Henan Province, Mainland China
1980's - Gained a degree in Art after four years at Guangzhou
Academy Fine Art College majoring in sculpture.
Lectured in Art and Design for eleven years at Suzhou University.
Also commissioned by city authorities to design and undertake
large scale city sculptures.
1997 - Came to New Zealand.
Awards
1998 - First Prize at the Thames Society of Arts - "1998 Summer Exhibition"
1999 - First Prize at the St Heliers Bay Arts Festival "Pottery Awards"
2000 - Second Prize at "Northland Art Award" at Reyburn House Gallery
2015 - Award of Excellence at "56th National Exhibition of NZ Potters Society 2015"
